This anntique 1920s Japanese Kimono was made from an ombre silk that ranges from a glistening gold shoulder to a bold true orange toward the hem. Hand stitched with a stunning large peacock on the back in a metallic teal with diamond quilted detail, along with large magenta flowers. Lovely pops of violet, gold, and black create remarkable contrast against the rich orange background, with a pearlescent white silk lining. This incredible robe closes at the waist with an accompanying sash that features the iconic fringe of the era. An impeccable collector's piece that retains the tracking threads at the hem, suggesting that this has never been worn.
