This vintage 1930s nightgown by Barbizon has never been worn, made from a rich mint green silk 'Satin Dasche' material. A loose fit cut on the bias, with gorgeous deep tan lace appliqués that frame the low V cut neckline and extend towards the waist. Very long attached ties wrap around the waist and can tie in the back or around the front hip for a more boho chic allure. A very low, nearly open back adds drama from all angles, with a long lace edged hem that falls just above the ankles. A stunner in a rare and highly collectible color.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
